Welcome back, Arjun. Yesterday you settled the landing page direction. The next unblocked step is to build the public page and link it to releases.

Your AI remembers the work.
Finish with /wrap-up and Paperjot leaves a useful handover in your vault. Begin the next session with /resume and your agent reads what changed, what was decided and what to do next. You carry on; you do not start again.

Your files remain yours.
Markdown, HTML, MDX and CSV live as plain files in a folder on your Mac. Open them in Finder, edit them in Vim, put them in Git or take them somewhere else entirely. Paperjot is an excellent way to work with your files, not the only way to reach them.

Your agent works beside you.
Claude Code, OpenCode and Codex run in a real terminal with access to the vault you chose. They use your existing account and subscription. There is no metered proxy, no imitation chat panel and no invisible prompt sent on your behalf.

Private means private by design.
Your working copy stays on your Mac. When you turn on sync, every file is encrypted before it leaves the device and can only be unlocked with your passphrase or recovery code. Paperjot cannot recover the key, read the vault or quietly change the bargain later.

Writing is only the beginning.
Markdown renders as you type. HTML opens beside its preview. CSV becomes a proper grid. Wikilinks, checkboxes, code, maths, diagrams and images all sit comfortably in the same vault. Search reaches across it; tabs keep the work in place.

Mistakes need not become history.
Paperjot keeps local snapshots while you work and saves sync conflicts as separate files rather than choosing a winner behind your back. Versions can be inspected and restored. Your original work remains visible, ordinary and recoverable.

Teach it once.
Your vault carries its own instructions in AGENTS.md and its own reusable skills in ordinary folders. The same rules travel between supported agents, sync with the vault and improve with the work. The memory belongs to the project, not to one model.
